About Dr. Megan

Originally from upstate New York, Dr. Megan Wickersham attended Cornell University and graduated with a degree in Animal Science. She attended veterinary school at Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine and received her degree in 2007. Upon completion of vet school she remained at the K-State for another year as an intern in Equine Medicine and Surgery. Since then she has worked in mixed animal practice and relocated to Washington state in 2009. Interest in additional methods of diagnosis and healing lead her to complete training with the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS) to become a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist, CVA, in 2012. Northwest Veterinary Acupuncture was born thereafter and we are happy to be growing every year! Dr. Megan lives with her husband Tim and their dogs Butters, Wendy and Max and horse Mr. Darcy.
